i was very pleased to see the final text in the King's Speech was marked exactly how I mark my students' texts when the text has been divided into thought groups with the stressed words marked in as well as the tonic stress.
- bold = stressed word
- BOLD CAPITALS means tonic stress or slightly heavier stress that carries the pitch change
- // = pause
For example:
